HOW WE BREW ESPRESSO

We divided our coffee range into three roast styles.
The roast style will be the main factor in deciding how to brew your espresso.

For all coffee brewing, we recommend using clean and soft water at around 120ppm.

For our light roasts, we recommend using a coffee to water ratio of 1:2.5 to 1:4. The brewing temperature should be a minimum of 93°C. We enjoy our light roasted espresso between 30 and 35 seconds

Medium roasted coffees should finish between 27 and 32 seconds. We recommend a coffee to water ratio of 1:2 up to a 1:3 with brewing water temperature between 90°C and 93°C.

Dark roasted coffees should be brewed at temperatures below 90°C with coffee to water ratios of 1:2 and below, with brew times around 25 seconds.
