Complaints
If you receive an item that does not meet your expectations, please contact our customer service via email or phone as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after receiving your item, so we can rectify the issue. You can find contact details under the Customer Service section.
In certain cases, we may request the defective item to be returned to us for inspection or forwarding to our supplier. In such cases, the shipping costs will be covered by Amokka.com, provided the complaint is justified.
For items not intended for household consumption, you have a 2-year warranty under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that appear during normal use. In the case of a valid complaint, you may have the product repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.
The warranty does not cover issues arising from improper use, lack of maintenance, violence, or unauthorized alterations. Any complaints regarding obvious defects or damages should be reported as soon as they are discovered, and no later than 14 days from discovery.
Returns and Product Returns
There is no right of return for coffee or other perishable goods unless the product is damaged during shipping. Since coffee is roasted and packed to order, it cannot usually be returned.
For damaged packaging, other defective items, or missing deliveries, please contact customer service. Products must be returned in their original packaging and unused condition.
We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery. The cost of returning goods falls on the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds
In the case of agreed refunds or returned items, the purchase price will be refunded. Refunds are usually processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction, or via bank transfer. We may request your bank account information for refunds via transfer.
Right of Withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for items that are not food products, as per EU Consumer Rights Directive. This does not apply to food items or custom-made products.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned in its original packaging and in an unused condition. The cost of returning the product is borne by the customer. Once we receive the returned item and confirm it meets the conditions for withdrawal, the full purchase price will be refunded within 14 days. If the product has been used or damaged, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount proportionally to the depreciation in the item's value.
Note: Custom-made or special order products cannot be returned if production has begun.
