How We roast coffee

Coffee roasting is the process of heating the coffee cherry seeds to augment aroma and flavor and ultimately increase solubility.

At Amokka® we take a modern approach to roasting. No tricks, no secret techniques or "slow roasts". 

Within our range you will find lighter, fragrant and elegant coffees to more expressive, intense and bold dark roasts.

Generally we tend to roast our single origins on the lighter side to truly express their unique characteristics. Our blends are often on the medium or dark side, by adjusting the composition we can strike the perfect balance.
