Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions comply with EU regulations and apply to all purchases made on Amokka.com.

1. Ordering Process 1.1. Select your items and add them to the shopping cart. 1.2. Proceed to checkout, where you can review your order and make adjustments if necessary. 1.3. Enter your details, select the delivery method, and accept the terms and conditions. 1.4. Confirm and complete the payment to finalize your order.

Note: You will receive an order confirmation email once the payment is approved, which constitutes acceptance of your order.

2. Payment Methods We accept the following payment methods:

  • Dankort, Visa/Dankort, eDankort
  • MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, JCB

2.1. Payments will only be charged when the item is shipped, in compliance with EU Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) Article 19. 2.2. Some payment methods may incur fees. These will be clearly shown at checkout before finalizing your order. 2.3. All payment details are processed securely using DIBS encryption technology, ensuring your data is confidential.

3. Pricing and Taxes 3.1. All prices listed on Amokka.com include VAT and applicable taxes, as required by EU law. 3.2. Shipping costs and any card processing fees (where applicable) will be clearly shown at checkout before the order is finalized. 3.3. Prices are displayed in DKK (Danish kroner).

4. Right of Withdrawal (Non-Food Items) 4.1. In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on non-food items, beginning from the date you receive your goods. 4.2. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email (coffee@amokka.com) within 14 days and return the items in their original condition and packaging. You will bear the cost of return shipping. 4.3. We will refund the full purchase price (including any standard shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return, whichever comes first. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase. 4.4. Exceptions: Coffee and other perishable goods are exempt from the right of withdrawal unless the product is defective or damaged.

5. Complaints and Warranty 5.1. In case of a defective or damaged product, you have the right to a 2-year warranty on non-perishable items, in line with the EU Sales and Guarantees Directive. 5.2. You must inform us of the defect within a reasonable time, no later than 3 days after discovering the issue, by contacting customer service at coffee@amokka.com. 5.3. If a replacement or repair is required, we will cover the return shipping costs.

6. Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance 6.1. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only collect the information necessary to process your order and provide customer service. 6.2. You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data at any time. For more details, see our Privacy Policy on the website. 6.3. We do not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary for the fulfillment of your order (e.g., sharing delivery details with shipping companies).

7. User Account 7.1. You can create a user account to save your details securely. You can update or delete your account at any time under "My Account." 7.2. Stored payment information complies with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and GDPR guidelines, ensuring secure transactions.

8. Delivery Information 8.1. Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days unless otherwise stated. Estimated delivery times vary based on location. 8.2. Delivery charges are calculated based on your location and chosen delivery method. These will be displayed at checkout. 8.3. In case of delays or out-of-stock items, you will be notified immediately, and you may choose to cancel or modify your order.

9. Returns and Refunds (Non-Food Items) 9.1. Non-food items can be returned within 14 days, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. You will need to cover the return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect. 9.2. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability 11.1. We reserve the right to make changes to prices, terms, and availability without prior notice. 11.2. We are not liable for any delays or failures caused by events outside of our control (force majeure). 11.3. Any liability for direct or indirect damage due to the use of our products is limited to the amount paid for the order, except as required under mandatory EU law.
